At the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, located near Cashman Field north of Downtown Las Vegas within Ward 5, panels shade 60 parking spaces. The total size of the system is 47 kW and will generate approximately 94,000 kWh, offsetting the building's meter by about 44 percent. Funding for the project came from CDBG-R (ARRA) funds and NV Energy SolarGenerations rebates. Contributing to the successful completion of the project was the "design-build" team consisting of Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto and CORE Construction.
